Fifi Abdo to perform in 'Yenanwat Jilai`a' in Kuwait during Eid

CAIRO - 4 June 2019: Rising Kuwaiti artist Shihab expressed his happiness with the participation of famed Egyptian actress Fifi Abdo in the play "Yenanwat Jilai`a," which will stage in Kuwait on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

On social media platforms, Shihab explained that he plays the role of a man addicted to social media. He commented that he is hoping that the play will gain the appraisal of his fans, asserting that his fans will see him in a new role.

The Kuwaiti actor published the play’s poster on his official Instagram account. In the poster, he is united with Fifi Abdo, commenting: “In “Yenanwat Jilai`a” (Ghosts of Jilai`a), I am acting alongside veteran actress Fifi Abdo. My Kuwaiti fans will see me in dramatic works soon.”

He pointed out that director Nasser al-Balushi nominated him to embody this role, and that he is encouraged by Abdo to play this role and go through this theatrical experience.

Shihab pointed out that he is lucky to work alongside a wide selection of prominent actors and actresses in the play, thanking his fans for all the support.

It is worth mentioning that the play stars Mohammed al-Ajmi, Nasser al-Balushi, Khalid Mufidi, Badr al-Balushi, Ali Ahmed and Mohammed Akbar. It is written by Hisham el-Awady and the production of Nasser al-Balushi.
